WHY THIS PLATE?

Because eating well doesn’t have to be complicated.

Colorful, filling & made at home

HOW I MADE IT?

I don’t cook with complicated rules. I start with real ingredients, season them simply, and let the food taste like food. This is how I put today’s plate together.

01 – POTATO & ZUCCHINI EGG SALAD

Creamy, fresh, with just a little sweetness.

I boiled the potato until soft, then lightly mashed it while still leaving some texture. I added sliced zucchini, carrot and egg, seasoned everything simply with salt and black pepper, then finished it with just a touch of honey. Nothing heavy – just enough to bring the flavors together.

02 – AIR-FRIED CHICKEN

Golden outside, juicy inside, simply seasoned.

I seasoned the chicken breast with Italian mixed herbs, black pepper, a little olive oil and a touch of sea salt. After preheating the air fryer at 180°C for 5 minutes, I air-fried the chicken for 22 minutes, turned it over, and air-fried it for another 5 minutes until beautifully golden. Simple seasoning, simple cooking – and plenty of flavor.

Kitchen note: Air-fryer cooking times can vary depending on the size and thickness of the chicken. Make sure the thickest part reaches 74°C (165°F) before serving.

03 – COLORFUL CAPSICUMS & SEAFOOD MUSHROOMS

Colourful, naturally sweet, crisp and juicy.

I stir-fried the colorful capsicums and fresh seafood mushrooms with a little olive oil, then added a touch of sea salt and organic Matsutake seasoning to bring out their natural flavors.

WHY I LOVE THIS KIND OF MEAL

Simple food that leaves me satisfied.

I enjoy meals like this because nothing is complicated. It’s simply a plate of real food – chicken, egg, potato and plenty of vegetables – cooked in a way that lets each ingredient speak for itself.

I don’t believe eating well means everything has to be boiled, bland or restrictive. I still use olive oil, seasoning and ingredients that make food enjoyable. For me, it’s about keeping things simple, choosing mostly whole foods and creating a plate that is both nourishing and satisfying.

And most importantly, this is the kind of food I genuinely eat at home. It isn’t a special “diet meal” made just for a photograph. It’s everyday food – colorful, filling and something I look forward to eating.

A LITTLE REMINDER

You don’t need a perfect plate to eat well.

Start with foods you enjoy. Add some vegetables, choose a good source of protein, keep the cooking simple, and make it taste good. One satisfying whole-food meal at a time is enough.
